   A photograph of an Iranian opposition protest by the Italian photographer Pietro Masturzo is the best picture at the 53rd World Press Photo contest which ended in Amsterdam. The best picture is one of 11 in categories there which also include sport, nature, portrait and everyday life. The contest has been around since 1955, under the auspices of the Crown Prince of the hosting country.
